Green and yellow (classic dorado colors), pink, and blue/white are the most consistent mahi colors. Run brighter colors on sunny days and darker purples and blues in low light or overcast conditions.

Lures in the 7–10 inch range cover most mahi, from schoolies to gaffers. Our small (7–8") and medium (~10") lures are the go-to sizes. Step up to a 15" lure when targeting big bulls or when marlin are in the area.
How fast should I troll for mahi?
Troll between 6 and 10 knots. Slow toward the low end along weed lines and floating debris so your lures stay in the strike zone longer.
