Built for speed, the Comet is designed to rip through the water with a flash and wobble that gets noticed. As it cuts through the spread, its baitfish profile mimics a fleeing flying fish or sardine — exactly the kind of easy meal that triggers a reaction strike from tuna and mahi-mahi.

At about 7 inches, the Comet sits in K2Fishing's small lure class, but don't let the size fool you: wahoo and marlin aren't shy about taking a run at it either. The same fast, erratic action that draws in smaller pelagics is just as effective at pulling bigger predators up out of the depths.
